Mini Day Camp
The last two weeks of August is a hectic time for parents as they try to prepare for the upcoming school year. Otsar provides a Mini Day Camp at the end of each summer, allowing parents the time to attend to the many tasks associated with preparing for the new school year, while simultaneously offering their special needs children structured and engaging activities and opportunities to integrate into the community. Whether it’s a recreational activity or a trip, the Mini Day Camp provides each child with additional socialization opportunities as well as appropriate community integration all done in a fun and interesting way. Parents and the entire household can enter the new school year, relaxed and prepared, with a child who was a happy camper.
This program is regulated and partially funded by OPWDD.
